Privacy Policy

Last updated: September 2026

Your privacy matters to us, so we've kept Voice Writer AI as simple as possible on that front. When you dictate, your voice is picked up and turned into text by your own browser's built-in speech recognition engine — we never receive, transmit, or store your raw audio on any server. The text you dictate lives in your browser's local storage, right there on your device, so it's still there if you close the tab and come back later, but it isn't sitting on a server somewhere that we or anyone else can access.

We don't require an account to use the dictation tool, so there's no email address, password, or personal profile tied to your usage. We do use basic, privacy-respecting analytics to understand overall traffic to the site, like which pages get visited, but this isn't linked to your dictated content in any way. If that ever changes — for example, if we add optional AI-powered features that send text to a third party for processing — we'll update this page and make it clear which features involve that before you use them.

This policy may be updated from time to time as Voice Writer AI grows and adds new features, and we'll always reflect the current state of things here rather than leaving outdated claims in place. If you ever have a question about what data we do or don't handle, or want something clarified in plain language, reach out through our contact page and we'll answer directly.
